Our Story
Higher Aunemouth Farm has been welcoming campers since the late 1960s, but our story began a little earlier. In 1963, Peter and Helen Williams found this beautiful corner of South Devon and made it their home.
What was once a working dairy farm gradually opened its gates to campers looking for somewhere peaceful to stay while exploring Bantham and the surrounding coastline. More than fifty years later, that same spirit remains.
Our Approach
A lot has changed over the years, but Higher Aunemouth has stayed true to what makes it special. We're not a holiday park, and we've never tried to be one.
Our aim has always been to offer a relaxed, friendly place where people can enjoy the outdoors, spend time with family and friends, and experience camping as it should be. Open fields, fresh sea air and the freedom to slow down are what we're all about. It's simple, honest camping in one of the most beautiful parts of South Devon.
Loyal Guests
One of the greatest compliments we receive is seeing familiar faces return year after year. Many guests first visited as children and now bring their own families, while others come back each season for the surf, the estuary, the walking and the peaceful atmosphere that makes Higher Aunemouth feel so special.
We never take that loyalty for granted, and we're proud to be part of so many family traditions.
